Pack 24

Camping

Camping is an integral part of Scouting.   In Cub Scouting, with the exception of Webelos Resident Camp, family camping is the rule of the day.  No Cub Scout may go camping without an adult family member.   No Cub Scout may sleep in a tent with anyone other than an adult family member.   On all pack camping trips, with the exception of Webelos Resident Camp, all family members can attend.

An important part of camping is being prepared and properly equipped.  Below you will find a list of suggested items.   As a suggestion if you don't have much or any camping equipment, think about birthdays and Christmas as a time to give a sleeping bag or a tent.  You don't have to spend a bunch of money to go camping.
