Bead Crafts

Bead crafts are as numerous as the beads themselves. The most simple and obvious craft is a necklace or bracelet. This is great even for younger children and there are countless different styles, sizes and colors of beads. It is a craft that has been practiced for thousands if not millions of years. Beads back then were made from bone and wood while beads today can be made from a wide variety of materials.

While jewelry is one of the most popular bead crafts there is a wide range of items that can be made using beads and other materials. Zipper pulls are an easy craft that kids love. Bookmark beaded ribbons make excellent gifts. Christmas ornaments made from beads are easy to make and beautiful and a beaded watch strap can give life to an old watch.

Other bead crafts include rings, chandelier earrings, a funky pen, a hat band, hair chopsticks, a lighter wrap, macramé bracelet, and a picture wallet. The list can go on for pages and page, but here are a few more ideas. Wine glass charms are great for the casual drinker, a wire dragon fly is a great decoration and can be fun to play with, and napkin rings can give a table setting a special charm.
